  TESTIMONIALS

Muzak Heart & Soul reaches students on a national level. We want everyone to know, first hand, how Muzak Heart & Soul Foundation and Noise! has impacted those students.

"Noise! is essential for anyone who dreams of a career in music. This is more than just a summer camp. You won't get these kind of opportunities anywhere else. The things you learn and the connections you make are priceless. Two weeks after I returned home from Noise! I landed a job at a radio station. Noise is the best and most incredible way to spend two weeks of your summer.  The benefits last a lifetime."
- Noah, Noise! 2006

"Noise was the best two weeks of my life! It taught me so much including how to play a new insturment. It even gave me the confidence to play infront of many people and it gave me a network of amazing people. I made friends for life while having the best time."
- Carolyn, Noise! 2005

"I had the greatest experience of my life, definatly a turning point for my career as a musician/producer. So many talented people focused on one goal, great knowledgable staff that informed all of us on what was out there in the music industry. I still stay in contact with some of them till this day. My friends I'll never forget, experiences that changed me, and a lifetime of information is what I walked away with, in just two weeks time."

- Ivan, Noise! 2003

"Noise! was what made me realize that I could really pursue my dreams and do what I love in life."
- Keith, Noise! 2005

"Noise! was the best experience for a music lover like myself. I was given the opportunity to learn about careers that best suited me such as songwriting, producing, and event promotion. From the knowledge I gained at Noise!, I was able to start the Music Industry Club at my High School so that I could share my knowledge with others who aspire to obtain a career in the music industry."

- Emilio, Noise! 2004

"Noise was the best thing I have ever done because it was just a whole bunch of people sharing the same passion getting together and making music.  Even though I did have to be away from my family for 2 weeks.  I made a new family that I will never ever forget.  They made that 2 weeks the most memorable 2 weeks of my life. It wasn't just hanging out either it was also a lot of learning.  Although, that can be a very good thing because I learned so much stuff on that trip that will help me a lot in my future.  My favorite part had to be when we went to the taping of Rock Star because it was so exhilarating and fun because everybody was doing the same thing. Which is just being themselves.  I also liked how the counselors where so supportive of you and they were there for you if you needed help or if you just needed someone to talk to."
- Jamie, Noise! 2006

"I just wanted to thank you and all of Muzak for giving Megan the opportunity to experience Noise! 2005. She has been very interesting to watch as she comes down from her two-week high. The first day she was barely able to talk. If she tried to talk about Noise! she would melt into tears. Later she was able to call some of her friends from Noise and they seem to all have the same reaction, that they have experienced a special bond. She has explained to me that this is the first time in her life that she was around people she was totally comfortable with and that spoke the same language as her. It is quite obvious Megan has had a life-altering experience.

After not seeing Megan for 2 weeks, I was astounded how she had changed. I saw a very centered, empowered, young lady."
- Chris, Mother of Noise! 2005 Participant

"Noise! is an absolutely amazing program. I have probably learned more through Noise! camp than I have through any other class, organization, or otherwise having to deal with the music industry. It is a lifetime resource that helps students network and make important professional contacts."
- Christina, Noise! 2005 & Junior Counselor Noise! 2006

"Monica is certainly putting what she learned to very good use --- she's already working with a songwriter from Nashville who has sent her the first "demo song' and will follow up with four others for her to record a 5 song CD in the next 6 months or so.  This gentleman is a heavy weight in Nashville and he said that he was willing to take her to a label once he felt she was ready, so we're working hard on this right now.

You guys are great and I can't thank you enough for giving her the experience and opportuntiy of a lifetime -- she asked me if the recording industry has 'interships' available for students like her for during the summer!"
- Eva, Mother of Noise! 2006 Participant
